Experience in designing complex assemblies and mechanisms using NX software.

• Design 3D models, assemblies and detail 2D drawings.

• Thorough Interpretation of existing product and tooling CAD.

• Obtain/extract appropriate CAD of components, fittings, etc. from supplier websites and assemble to the parent assembly design.

• Interpreting 2D drawings for conversion to 3D models and assemblies.

• Efficient handling, transfer, and management of CAD data.

• Draft Analysis for Plastic parts (an advantage)

• Understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.

• Knowledge of other CAD software, such as SolidWorks or CATIA is a plus

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working on Siemens NX design software

• Proficiency in using NX software for 3D modelling, assembly design, and drafting.

• Solid understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and manufacturing processes.

• Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
