The Opportunity
Utilize SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, and other CAD software to create detailed part and assembly models, 2D drawings, for
Fabrication and Manufacturing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
Produce Bill of Materials (BOM), mechanical equipment layouts, and fabrication drawings in accordance with project
specifications.
Undertake detailed modeling with the aim of generating fabrication drawings for manufacturing.
Apply manufacturing process knowledge to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
Collaborate with the engineering team to refine and improve design concepts.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly process.
Continuously update and improve design documentation as needed.
Basic knowledge of inspection techniques, measuring instruments, and quality control procedures.
Experience with plastic part design, product development, electronics enclosures, surface modeling, and hybrid modeling is
a plus.
