The Opportunity:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Enhance product designs for cost-effective manufacturing and assembly, focusing on plastic components.
2. Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to resolve tooling and production challenges.
3. Conduct tolerance analysis and improve material and process selection.
4. Develop and implement DFMA best practices to streamline production.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical/Plastics Engineering OR Diploma in Tool and Die Making/Post Diploma in Tool Design.
2. 3+ years of experience in plastic component design and injection molding processes.
3. Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) and knowledge of GD&T.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach to challenges.
