Key Responsibilities

 Assist in Product Design– Work on concept development, sketching, and 3D modeling for surgical and orthopedic devices.

 User-Centered Research– Understand surgeon and healthcare staff needs to design practical, ergonomic solutions.

 3DModeling&Prototyping– Create CAD models (SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360) and assist in 3D printing & prototyping.

 Material & Manufacturing Support– Learn about medical-grade materials, injection molding, and metal fabrication.

 Collaboration– Work closely with engineering, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to refine designs.

 Iterate & Improve– Take feedback from testing and user trials to enhance product designs.

Qualifications & Skills

 Degree/Diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.

 6+months of experience (internships/freelance/academic projects in industrial design count!).

 Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar).

 Basic understanding of manufacturing techniques like 3D printing, injection molding, and sheet metal.

 Strong problem-solving skills and aesthetic sense.

 Passion for designing products that impact healthcare.

 Portfolio showcasing design skills and creative thinking.
