The Opportunity:

At Drawn, print is at the heart of everything we do. We are a design-led brand that collaborates with artists worldwide to create wearable art—unique, expressive, and meticulously crafted. We are seeking a Textile Designer with strong expertise in print design, Procreate, Adobe Suite, and fabric development to translate artistic concepts into high-quality textiles for our collections.

This role requires a deep understanding of print techniques, fabric applications, and industry trends, ensuring that every design is both aesthetically compelling and production-ready. The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, and experienced in working with digital and hand-drawn artwork, print separations, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Print Design & Development

Research and develop original textile prints, including florals, abstract motifs, and painterly designs, aligned with Drawn’s creative vision.

Utilize Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator to create and refine print artwork.

Develop seamless repeats, colorways, and scalable patterns for various fabrications.

Ensure accurate print separations, color matching, and resolution for production.

Stay updated on global print, color, and textile trends, integrating fresh ideas into collections.

Production & Vendor Coordination

Prepare and deliver tech packs, color specifications, and artwork files for production partners.

Review and approve strike-offs, lab dips, and pre-production samples, ensuring alignment with brand quality standards.

Troubleshoot any print-related technical issues during the sampling and production process.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

Partner with the design and product development teams to align prints with seasonal collections and silhouettes.

Collaborate with marketing and e-commerce teams to provide insights into print stories and fabric narratives.

Manage and maintain a digital archive of textile designs, ensuring organized documentation for future reference.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Surface Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in textile/print design for fashion, home, or lifestyle brands.

  • Advanced proficiency in Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and textile CAD software.

  • Strong understanding of color theory, pattern repeat techniques, and print scale adjustments.

  • Experience with various print processes (screen printing, digital printing, block printing, etc.).

  • Knowledge of fabric properties, dyeing techniques, and sustainable textile innovations.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Experience working with overseas vendors, fabric mills, and print studios is a plus.
