About Us

One Eight Kōbō is a boutique design studio working across branding, packaging, and communication design. We're a small, hands-on team, and we're looking for an intern who wants to be genuinely involved in the work, not just observe it.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing brand identities – logos, typography systems, color palettes

• Support in creating and maintaining brand style guides

• Apply brand systems across packaging, digital, and print collaterals

• Work closely with the design team on client projects from concept to execution

• Research and gather references/moodboards to support design direction

• Iterate on designs based on feedback from the team

Requirements

• A portfolio showing your design thinking (student projects, personal work, or internships are fine)

• Solid grasp of typography, color, and layout fundamentals

• Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, etc.)

• Someone who's curious, experiments often, and isn't afraid to take initiative

Duration & Location

• Duration: 3 months

• Location: Remote

• Timing: Monday-Saturday, 9 AM-6 PM
