About the Role

At Viamagus, we are seeking a craft-driven Creative Product Designer who can think in systems, pay attention to detail, and bring delightful and scalable digital experiences to life. You’ll work on diverse client projects across web and mobile platforms, collaborating with product managers, developers, and other designers in a fast-paced, impact-oriented environment.

This role is ideal for someone who can balance clarity and creativity, design with intent, and prototype with speed, while confidently navigating technical and business constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end user experiences and intuitive user interfaces for product and client solutions

  • Translate business goals and user needs into thoughtful flows, wireframes, and polished high-fidelity mockups

  • Develop responsive designs across web and mobile, adhering to usability, accessibility, and performance best practices

  • Create wireframes and prototypes using tools like Figma or similar

  • Build interactive, clickable prototypes to communicate ideas and flows

  • Design visually cohesive UI systems in Figma, including components, layouts, states, and transitions

  • Maintain and contribute to design systems using tokens and variables for scalable consistency

  • Work with interaction design, micro-interactions, and motion design to elevate experiences

  • Collaborate closely with engineers to preserve design intent through implementation

  • Take quick, confident design decisions, balancing trade-offs and rationale

  • Review peers’ work to spot inconsistencies and suggest improvements

  • Stay inspired by digital design trends and maintain a strong reference library

Must-Have Skills

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in UX/UI or Product Design with a strong portfolio

  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Balsamiq, or equivalent tools

  • Strong grasp of visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and UI patterns across platforms

  • Experience designing responsive, accessible interfaces for web and mobile

  • Familiarity with design systems and design tokens (color, spacing, typography, elevation)

  • Understanding of tokenization strategies for theming and accessibility

  • Skilled in creating flexible components in Figma with variants, properties, and auto layout

  • Ability to prototype quickly, iterate based on feedback, and validate with stakeholders

  • Strong communication skills for presenting and rationalizing design decisions

  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with motion design and creating animations

  • Exposure to AI-powered design tools (Figma AI, Uizard, Midjourney, v0, Bolt, Cursor, Lovable)

  • Knowledge of UX writing and crafting interface copy

  • Formal design education (NID, NIFT, or equivalent)

  • Skills in Photoshop, Illustration, or other creative tools

What We Value

  • A decisive designer who makes quick, confident design choices while balancing trade-offs

  • Clear rationale for design decisions, considering ecosystems and diverse use cases

  • Problem-solving mindset, navigating technical and business constraints without compromising user experience

  • Expertise in building and evolving cohesive, accessible design systems aligned with WCAG standards

  • Sharp eye for detail, able to spot errors or inconsistencies during reviews

  • Passion for motion design and identifying impactful interaction moments

  • Maintains a rich visual library for inspiration and fresh ideas

  • Collaborative, curious, and eager to experiment with evolving tools and methods
