DESIGN INTERN

Playground Strategy & Design · Pune

We’re looking for a Design Intern to join Playground.

You’ll work across the studio, moving between branding, digital experiences, graphic design and visual systems. Some days you might be designing a landing page. Some days you’ll be building out a brand identity. Other days you’ll be figuring out how a visual system should actually work.

We’re less interested in whether you know every tool and more interested in how you think, how quickly you learn, and what you do with an open brief.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

• Brand identities and visual systems

• Websites and digital experiences

• Social and campaign design

• Presentations, decks and pitch materials

• Graphic design and communication systems

• Research and visual exploration

• Turning rough ideas into sharp, considered design

You’ll get the opportunity to work on real client projects, alongside strategists and designers, and see how a project moves from a question to an idea to something that actually ships.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• A final year design student or recent design graduate

• Based in Pune

• Comfortable with Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite

• Some experience with Framer

• A quick creative thinker who can explore multiple directions without getting stuck on the first idea

• Good visual sense and attention to detail

• Curious about branding, digital design, culture, technology and how things work

• Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly

• Someone who can explain why they made a design decision, not just what they made

You don’t need to have everything figured out.

We’re looking for someone who wants to figure things out.

WHAT YOU’LL GET

A chance to work inside a small, multidisciplinary design studio where you’ll be involved in the process, not just handed production work.

You’ll learn how we approach research, strategy, concept development, visual design and execution across different kinds of problems.

You’ll also get to work closely with the people actually making the work, contribute to live projects and build a portfolio around work that has a purpose beyond the classroom.
