Team

With a mission to become the World’s No. 1 Email Marketing Agency, we’re scaling at hyper-growth. Our founders, Nishant and Sushant Yadav, launched Optimite in 2019 and have since partnered with the largest Shopify brands and digital agencies across the US and Europe.

Location: India (Remote)

Work Timings: 10am - 7pm IST or 1pm - 10pm IST depending on the role

Working Days: Monday to Friday, with 2 alternate Saturdays working. The 5th Saturday of the month will be a working day.

About the Role

As an Email Designer at Optimite, you will own the visual quality and execution of client-facing email creatives across multiple brands.

This role is not just about creating good-looking designs. It is about designing high-performing, production-ready emails that render well across devices, meet brand standards, and move fast through a high-volume delivery system.

You will work closely with Account Managers, Copywriters, and Developers to ensure designs are accurate, feasible, and shipped on time. Beyond day-to-day delivery, you will contribute to design systems, creative innovation, and mentorship to raise the overall quality bar of the team.

What will you do?

You will design, systemize, and ship conversion-focused email creatives at scale while maintaining high design precision, strong collaboration, and consistent brand quality.

Email & creative output (50%)

• Design mobile-first, conversion-focused email creatives across multiple clients

• Deliver new designs and revisions with speed and accuracy

• Maintain strong visual hierarchy, typography, and layout consistency

• Reduce rework by proactively catching design errors before QA

Metrics you’ll own:

• Rework rate per email or campaign

• Average turnaround time per design request

• Brand consistency errors flagged during QA

Process, systems & scalability (30%)

• Maintain and improve centralized Figma libraries and component systems

• Build reusable templates and components to accelerate delivery

• Document design workflows that prevent repeat mistakes

• Ensure all design assets are organized, linked, and tracked correctly in ClickUp

Metrics you’ll own:

• Adoption rate of shared Figma components and templates

• Reduction in repeat design errors over time

• Time saved per campaign due to systemization

Innovation, collaboration & mentorship (20%)

• Contribute portfolio-worthy work to Optimite’s external presence

• Support internal branding and marketing initiatives when required

• Explore and document new tools, including AI, to improve creative efficiency

• Mentor junior and associate designers through reviews and guidance

• Collaborate actively with Account Managers, Copywriters, and Developers

Metrics you’ll own:

• Quality of peer design reviews and feedback

• Junior designer ramp-up time and improvement

• Cross-functional feedback score on collaboration

Must Have

• 3+ years of experience in email or digital design

• Advanced proficiency in Figma for production-level work

• Strong design fundamentals across typography, layout, and responsive design

• Ability to handle high-volume creative output across multiple brands

• High attention to detail, deadlines, and execution quality

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Good to have

• Experience with email testing tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid

• Exposure to eCommerce design and performance metrics

• Understanding of brand marketing and portfolio publishing

• Familiarity with AI-based design tools and workflow automation
