Job Title: Senior Graphic Designer (Apparel & Prints)

About the Role
CommonGround is where "drip meets comfort." We don’t just make clothes; we create conversation starters. We are looking for a Graphic Designer who lives and breathes internet culture, anime, streetwear aesthetics, and the "vibe" of the modern Indian GenZ.
You aren't just "making a design"—you are creating the next viral print that someone wears to a concert, a college fest, or a weekend hang.
What You’ll Do
Create "Scroll-Stopping" Prints: Design high-impact graphics for oversized t-shirts, hoodies, and accessories that resonate with 18-25 year olds.
Trend-Spotting: Stay ahead of the curve. Whether it’s a new anime season (Jujutsu Kaisen, One Piece), a trending meme, or a "core" aesthetic (Y2K, Cyberpunk, Old Money), you should be able to translate it into a CommonGround product.
Typography & Layout: Use bold, experimental typography. You know when to use a clean Swiss layout and when to go chaotic with "grunge" or "acid" textures.
Visual Storytelling: Develop "Collections" rather than just one-off designs. You’ll create the visual identity for seasonal drops.
Tech Packs & Mockups: Create high-fidelity, photorealistic mockups and tech packs to ensure your vision translates perfectly from screen to fabric.
Collaborate: Work closely with the production and marketing teams to ensure prints are production-friendly (Screen print, DTF, High-density, etc.) and social-media ready.
The CommonGround Candidate
Portfolio: You have a portfolio that screams "GenZ." We want to see streetwear, character art, bold typography, and a deep understanding of color theory.
Software Mastery: You are a wizard at Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Proficiency in Procreate, After Effects, or Blender (for 3D mockups) is a massive plus.
Cultural Fluency: You know the difference between "cringe" and "cool." You understand GenZ slang, subcultures, and why certain designs "stick."
Detail Oriented: You care about the 1%—the placement of a back-print, the font on a neck label, and the texture of a graphic.
Experience: 1–3 years in an apparel brand or a creative agency focusing on lifestyle products. (Freshers with an insane portfolio are welcome to apply).
