WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR

• Someone young in their design thinking — bringing fresh ideas, genuine curiosity, and the kind of energy that hasn't yet been flattened by routine.

• Someone who arrives with strong fundamentals — typography, colour, composition, grid — and the openness to keep building on them, not just deploy them.

• Someone who is curious about why brands look the way they do, not just how.

• Someone who stays flexible — with briefs, with feedback, with direction — and understands that iteration isn't a setback, it's where the real work happens.

MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE

• 1–2 years of experience in a design studio, branding agency, or equivalent

• Strong foundational knowledge of visual identity, typography, and layout

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

• Figma and After Effects knowledge is a strong plus

• A portfolio that demonstrates conceptual range and attention to craft

• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field

• Mandatory relocation to Pune (in-office role)

CORE SKILLS REQUIRED

• Strong understanding of graphic design, branding fundamentals, and visual systems

• Strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn and collaborate

• Typography — informed selection, pairing, and application

• Layout design across print and digital formats

• Packaging design and brand communication materials

• Ability to build and extend brand identity systems, not just apply them

• Conceptual thinking grounded in the brief — not just aesthetics

• Attention to craft at every scale — from a full brand system to a single icon

WHAT YOU'LL DO HERE

• Work across branding and communication projects — identity, packaging, digital, collateral

• Extend and apply brand identity systems with consistency and intelligence

• Collaborate closely with strategy and content teams to ensure design is insight-led

• Present and articulate your design rationale with clarity and confidence

• Bring references, curiosity, and a strong point of view to every project

• Own your projects from concept to final delivery, meeting timelines without compromising quality

WHO WILL NOT FIT

• If you wait for detailed briefs before you can begin thinking

• If craft is secondary to speed in your work

• If you're uncomfortable presenting or defending your design decisions

• If branding feels like decoration, not strategy

• If you're set in your ways — unwilling to learn, unlearn, or relearn — and treat collaboration and teamwork as someone else's responsibility
