Makos Design Studio is looking for a Creative Designer with 2+ years of experience to join our growing team.

We are a dynamic design and strategy studio working across brand identity, packaging, social media, digital design, wedding and event invitations, video invites, and bespoke creative projects. We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, and wants to be part of a growing design studio.

The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for design, a good understanding of branding, and the ability to think creatively while working quickly. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys different kinds of design projects, can adapt to different brand styles, and is passionate about design, storytelling, and brand building.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating visual identities, brand assets, layouts, and design systems

• Designing social media posts, carousels, stories, reel covers, and campaign creatives

• Working on packaging design concepts and layouts

• Creating wedding/event invitation designs, digital invites, menus, stationery, and event collateral

• Assisting with presentations, moodboards, mockups, and client-facing decks

• Supporting video invite/reel edits and basic motion/video design requirements

• Understanding briefs, exploring references, and developing design directions

• Ensuring all designs are strong, brand-aligned, and delivered on time

• Working closely with the founders and team across multiple projects

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant design experience

• Experience in branding and social media design is a must

• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

• Knowledge of video editing software is required

• Good understanding of typography, layout, colour, composition, and visual storytelling

• Ability to think creatively and execute quickly

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work across different design styles and categories

• Interest in brand building, not just making things look good

• Comfortable working in a growing, fast-moving design studio

• Positive attitude, ownership mindset, and willingness to learn
