Responsibilities include:

1. Own end-to-end design of handbags; from concept through to final tech pack, ready for production handoff.

2. Create mood boards to establish tone, material direction, and reference points for each new style.

3. Develop design direction: silhouette, proportion, panel construction, hardware placement, aligned with the brand's architectural minimalism.

4. Research and apply construction methods suited to plant-based leather (fold limitations, seam types, reinforcement techniques).

5. Produce detailed tech packs: technical sketches, flats, measurements, materials, hardware specs, construction notes, for each SKU.

6. Maintain consistency of the design signature across all styles.

7. Track samples through prototyping: reviewing fit, finish, and construction against tech pack specs, flagging revisions needed.

8. Conduct competitor research: studying construction techniques, silhouettes, and design details across comparable quiet-luxury and structured-bag brands to inform direction.

9. Build and maintain a materials and hardware reference library.
