Role Overview:

We’re seeking a strategic and insight-driven UI & Industrial Designer (Contractor) to join our Beauty & Essentials team. This hybrid role blends physical product design (packaging, tools, devices) with UI thinking—not to build full digital platforms, but to shape the visual and experiential continuity across digital and physical brand touchpoints.

Your primary focus will be on research and product strategy, using design thinking and user empathy to influence product development from concept to execution. You’ll also create user interface mockups and visual systems that support connected experiences—like device interfaces, diagnostic tools, or on-pack QR-led journeys—helping ensure a seamless and intentional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead user and market research to uncover insights that drive both physical and digital product strategy.Translate guest behaviors, rituals, and unmet needs into design strategies, concepts, and visual narratives.Design physical products such as grooming tools, skincare devices, and sustainable packaging solutions.Develop UI mockups and interaction flows for digital touchpoints using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch—supporting product diagnostics, on-pack guidance, or digital storytelling.Build concept boards, 3D models, and wireframes to visualize ideas and align cross-functional teams.Collaborate closely with partners in design, packaging, brand, and engineering across India and Minneapolis.Support innovation pilots with a focus on sustainability, inclusivity, and future-forward thinking.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, UI/UX, or a related discipline.3–6 years of experience in both physical product and visual/digital experience design.Proficiency with 3D modeling tools (Rhino, SolidWorks), renderers (KeyShot, V-Ray), and UI software (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).A solid understanding of materials, ergonomics, visual hierarchy, and experience design.Strong storytelling, communication, and collaborative skills.Ability to balance independent problem solving with team alignment and feedback.
