About the Company

The company is a new venture by Ankit Jain. Ankit spent nine years building and scaling premium consumer businesses across Hong Kong, Taiwan, India and the Middle East, most recently as Managing Director, India at Dyson.

The vision of the new venture is to build a new generation of premium kitchen appliances — based on original engineering, built with quality materials and a distinctive design language.

Key Responsibilities

Workstreams

• Own industrial design from concept generation through production

• Develop and evolve the brand's design language

• Translate the design language into distinct products across the portfolio

• Develop product industrial designs that balance aesthetics, ergonomics, functionality and manufacturing feasibility

• Work closely with product, engineering and manufacturing teams throughout the product development process, both internally and externally

• Conduct user research, competitor benchmarking and relevant design research

Deliverables

• Develop sketches, 3D models, CMF (Colour, Material & Finish) proposals, prototypes and design presentations

• Support tooling reviews and production validation to ensure design intent is maintained through manufacturing

• Develop research and competitor benchmarking reports

What We're Looking For

You appreciate premium products and great design. You have designed home appliances or similar consumer products before and have been part of a team that has taken a concept all the way to production. You understand the complete process, including CMF.

You're happiest challenging the status quo and creating. You're a thinker who can execute independently, but you love working with people.

Qualifications and Proficiency

• Formal degree in Industrial Design or Product Design

• If you've studied at NID or IIT, it is a plus

• 3D CAD and visualization tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, KeyShot, or equivalent
