Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Industrial Designer with 2 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a strong foundation in conceptualization and advanced 3D modeling. You will play a crucial role in the end-to-end design process, from initial brainstorming and sketching to detailed 3D rendering and design for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Concept Generation: Lead the ideation process through rapid sketching, brainstorming, and physical mock-ups to explore a wide range of aesthetic and functional solutions.

• 3D Modeling: Develop highly detailed and accurate 3D CAD models of product concepts, ensuring designs meet both premium aesthetic standards and dimensional constraints (e.g., working within strict bounding boxes).

• Design Development: Evolve initial concepts into refined product designs, balancing form, ergonomics, user experience, and manufacturability.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the development cycle.

• Prototyping & Validation: Assist in creating prototypes and evaluating physical models to refine proportions, surfacing, and material finishes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.

• 2 years of professional experience in industrial design or product development.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating a clear, creative design process, excellent concept generation, and high-quality 3D modeling skills.

• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, Plasticity 3D).

• High proficiency in rendering software (e.g., KeyShot, V-Ray) to create photorealistic product visualizations.

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantages)

• Plastics Expertise: Experience designing for plastic injection molding, vacuum forming, or other plastic manufacturing processes, including an understanding of draft angles, wall thicknesses, and parting lines.

• CAS Modeling: Experience with Computer-Aided Styling (CAS) tools (e.g., Autodesk Alias, ICEM Surf) to create highly refined, Class-A automotive-style surfaces.

• Experience or interest in designing premium medical equipment, ergonomic furniture, or large-scale physical products.
