Methods of Play is an Industrial Design Studio focused on building emerging tech. We're a lean, founder-led team that believes good design is equal parts thinking and making. Our clients come to us because they want work that's considered, crafted, and a little unexpected. We call ourselves an ideas company with build DNA.

The Role

We're looking for an Industrial Designer with 1–3 years of experience to join us on a 3-month contract with real potential to extend if the fit is right. You'll work across a mix of client projects spanning product categories. You'll be expected to sketch fast, think clearly, and bring your own point of view to the work. You will work with the creative director and project lead, sharing ownership over your projects from early concepts through to production.

What We are Looking For

• Problem Solving — Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creative exploration.

• Sketching — Fast, confident, communicative. You use a sketchbook to think and are confident in your ability to generate ideas.

• Communication — Methodical thinker and strong communicator allowing you to confidently share your point of view.

• Deep Form exploration — You're comfortable pushing a shape through many directions before landing on the right one.

• 3D & Visualization — Proficient in Rhino, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360. You can take your own sketches into 3D and make them look good.

• Adobe Creative Suite — Strong command. We like designers that can flex across visual tools.

• Ownership mentality — You ask good questions and figure out the rest on your own.

• Play as practice — You bring unexpected, joy inducing energy and ideas into the mix.

• 1–3 years of professional or studio experience.

• Contract Role (40 hours a week)

• Compensation: INR 75,000 - INR 80,000 per month
