The Opportunity:
The Graphic Design Intern will support the Foundation's communication and storytelling efforts by creating engaging visual content for digital and print platforms. This role will involve conceptualizing and designing creative materials that highlight the impact of our education, youth skills, and scholarship programs.
This internship is designed for individuals who are passionate about visual storytelling, eager to learn, and want to use their creative skills to make a difference.
Who We Are Looking For
As we continue to shape our communication and storytelling, we are looking for a Graphic Design Intern who can bring creativity, empathy, and design thinking to our mission of building equitable educational opportunities for all.
We are looking for a creative and motivated individual who believes in the power of storytelling to inspire change—someone who can translate ideas into visuals that connect deeply with people and reflect the spirit of Manal Foundation’s work.

Has a strong eye for design and visual storytelling
Enjoys bringing purpose-driven ideas to life through creativity and collaboration

Can manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines
Is eager to learn, experiment, and grow in a dynamic social sector environment
Roles & Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Communications team to develop authentic impact campaigns
Create visual assets for partner events, training sessions, and scholarship programs
Design posters, reports, newsletters, infographics, and social media creatives
Maintain consistency in brand tone, visuals, and messaging
Improve design templates and develop new digital storytelling formats
Work with photographers, videographers, and field teams to curate program visuals
Bring fresh, creative ideas to visual design and content presentation
Role Requirements
Qualifications

Graduate in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Media Studies, or a related field (R)
Strong portfolio of original design work (R)
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, and Figma (R)
Basic skills in video editing and motion graphics (Premiere Pro, After Effects) (R)
Interest or experience in designing for social impact or education-focused organizations (D)
Familiarity with NGO communication or storytelling formats (D)
Ability to adapt creative concepts to diverse audiences and platforms (D)
Skills
Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
