Our pieces are meticulously handcrafted by master artisans in West Bengal and Rajasthan, reflecting a contemporary, eclectic, and minimalist aesthetic. We are looking for a creative and passionate Jewelry Designer to join our team and help us translate these stories into wearable art.

The Role

As a Jewelry Designer at Zohra, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing unique jewelry collections that align with our brand’s soul.

You will bridge the gap between artistic imagination and technical execution, working closely with our master craftsmen to ensure every piece is a "labor of love."

Key Responsibilities

• Creative Conceptualization: Develop original design concepts and mood boards for seasonal collections.

• Design Development: Create detailed hand sketches and digital renderings of new jewelry pieces, including rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets.

• Technical Specifications: Prepare precise technical drawings, including dimensions, stone settings, and metal finishes, to guide our artisans.

• Trend & Cultural Research: Stay updated on global jewelry trends while deeply researching various cultures and nature-based motifs to infuse into Zohra’s unique design language.

• Material Selection: Select appropriate gemstones and metals that meet Zohra’s high standards for quality and aesthetic appeal.

Requirements

• Experience: 0–2 years (Junior level); a strong portfolio of previous work or academic projects is essential.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in manual sketching is a must. Knowledge of CAD software is highly preferred for digital modeling.

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Jewelry Design, Accessory Design, or Fine Arts.

• Aesthetic Alignment: A keen eye for minimalist, contemporary, and culturally-inspired design.

• Location: Ability to work On-site at our Kolkata office
