Job Title: Junior Video Editor

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Junior Video Editor who is passionate about storytelling through visuals. This is a hands-on opportunity for a fresh graduate or early-career creative to grow in a dynamic, collaborative environment. You’ll assist in creating video content for social media, marketing campaigns, branding, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in editing short-form and long-form video content for digital platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)

• Organize raw footage, trim and assemble clips, and sync audio

• Add transitions, effects, text overlays, and basic motion graphics where required

• Maintain visual consistency and brand alignment across edits

• Collaborate with the design, content, and marketing teams to execute video briefs

• Ensure timely delivery of video assets under the guidance of senior editors

• Support the team with content repurposing, resizing, and format optimization for different platforms

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects (basic), or similar tools

• Familiarity with formats and specifications for social media platforms

• Understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and audio syncing

• Attention to detail, willingness to take feedback, and eagerness to learn

• A portfolio or showreel (academic or personal projects acceptable) showcasing editing ability

• Degree or diploma in Film Editing, Mass Communication, Visual Arts, or related fields preferred

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory):

• Basic knowledge of colour correction and audio balancing

• Exposure to motion graphics tools (After Effects or Canva animations)

• Interest in design, branding, or marketing content
