I’m looking for a corporate logo designer to create the logo and initial brand identity for our new manufacturing company in Uganda, East Africa.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

UGOPACK is an aluminium foil container manufacturing company.

The name comes from:

UG – Uganda
GO – To Go
PACK – Packaging

We want the brand to feel professional, modern and international, while still being relevant to the East African market.

LOGO REQUIREMENTS

The designer should keep the following in mind:

International & professional: The logo should have a strong corporate feel and work for both local and international markets.
Simple & printable: Printing facilities in Uganda can have limitations, so the design should not rely on very fine details or complex elements.
Works on aluminium: The logo will also be embossed directly onto aluminium foil containers, so it must work well in a single-colour/embossed format.
Not colour-dependent: The logo should look strong in black and white, as it will also be printed in black on cartons and other packaging.
Brand colours: Along with the logo, I would like recommendations for a suitable brand colour palette.

FUTURE WORK

Once the logo is finalised, we will also need basic corporate stationery, including:

• Business cards

• Letterheads

• Other basic brand materials
