About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on, experienced modular furniture designer who understands both design and execution. This role involves working closely with clients, translating requirements into practical designs, and delivering accurate production drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning

• Design modular kitchens, wardrobes, and other furniture based on client requirements

• Develop layouts, 2D/3D designs, and detailed drawings

• Ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and optimized for space

Client Interaction

• Understand client needs, preferences, and budgets

• Guide clients on materials, finishes, and hardware selection

• Finalize designs through discussions and iterations

Site Work

• Conduct site visits for feasibility checks

• Coordinate with clients and internal teams during execution

Production Drawings

• Prepare detailed working drawings for manufacturing

• Ensure accuracy in dimensions, materials, and hardware specifications

• Work closely with the production team for smooth execution

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience in modular kitchen and wardrobe design

• Strong knowledge of materials (plywood, MDF, laminates, finishes) and hardware (hinges, channels, fittings)

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)

• Working knowledge of modular design software (preferred)

• Strong understanding of on-site execution and manufacturing constraints

• Good communication skills for client handling
