Motion Designer – Onboarding Transitions (2 Animations)

Overview

We’re looking for a motion designer to execute two onboarding transition animations for a mobile product experience. This is an execution-only role — all concepts and creative direction will be provided.

Scope

You will create two animations:

Opening onboarding transition

Closing onboarding transition

Both should feel like part of a single cohesive system.

Responsibilities

Translate provided concepts into motion

Design and animate transitions with strong timing and polish

Deliver production-ready motion assets

Deliverables

2 final animations (opening + closing)

2 rough passes for review

Source files (After Effects or equivalent)

Final exports (MP4/MOV)

Timeline

~5–7 day turnaround preferred. Milestones will be defined at kickoff.

Requirements

Strong UI / product motion portfolio

Experience with app onboarding or micro-interactions

Strong attention to timing, easing, and detail

Compensation

To be agreed based on experience and scope prior to kickoff.
