About the Role

We’re looking for a creative, proactive, and product-minded Product Designer who can take ownership of the end-to-end design process, from understanding user problems to building intuitive, high-quality product experiences. You’ll work closely with the founding team to shape the product vision, translate ideas into functional designs, and help take the product from 0 to 1.

This role is ideal for someone who goes beyond making things look good — someone who understands user needs, thinks critically about product decisions, and is excited to build, experiment, iterate, and take ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end design: Take ownership of the entire design process, from research and ideation to wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and developer handoff.

• Design intuitive user experiences: Create clean, user-friendly, and visually compelling interfaces for web and mobile products.

• Work in Figma: Build wireframes, interactive prototypes, reusable components, and scalable design systems using Figma and other relevant design tools.

• Take products from 0 to 1: Turn early-stage ideas and ambiguous requirements into tangible product experiences, from initial concepts to launch-ready designs.

• Think like a product owner: Understand the problem before jumping into solutions, identify user pain points, and balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with founders, product managers, and developers to translate product requirements into thoughtful design solutions.

• Prototype and validate: Create prototypes, test design assumptions, gather feedback, and iterate quickly based on user insights and product performance.

• Maintain design quality: Ensure consistency across screens, flows, components, and platforms while maintaining a high bar for visual quality and usability.

• Stay curious and experiment: Explore new design approaches, AI-powered design tools, emerging UI/UX trends, and ways to improve the product experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, interaction design, visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, accessibility, and responsive design.

• Proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, variants, prototyping, and design systems.

• Familiarity with other design and prototyping tools such as FigJam, Framer, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating real design work, thoughtful problem-solving, and end-to-end ownership of projects.

• A product mindset: you understand the why behind a design decision, not just how it looks.

• Comfort working with ambiguity and converting rough ideas into clear, actionable design solutions.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions and incorporate feedback.

• A self-starter attitude, with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take responsibility for outcomes.

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where priorities evolve and everyone contributes beyond their core responsibilities.
