Key Responsibilities

• Create product concepts through sketches and ideation.

• Develop 3D CAD models using SolidWorks.

• Prepare products for prototyping and manufacturing.

• Design consumer products with a focus on usability, aesthetics, and manufacturability.

• Work with the engineering team to refine product designs.

• Conduct basic research on materials, manufacturing processes, and market trends.

• Assist in prototype evaluation and design improvements.

• Communicate with vendors whenever required.

• Maintain proper documentation of design files and revisions.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks.

• Good understanding of product design fundamentals.

• Strong sketching and visualization skills.

• Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.

• Good communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (final year) or recent graduate in Industrial Design or Product Design.

• Portfolio demonstrating industrial/product design projects.

• Knowledge of KeyShot or other rendering software is a plus.

• Experience with rapid prototyping or 3D printing is an advantage
