🧩 Internship Overview

As a Product Design Intern, you'll drive the industrial design and mechanical development of our next-generation smart safety products. From early CAD concepts to physical prototypes and real-world testing, you'll help shape devices used by thousands of families and workers across India.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

As a selected intern, your day-to-day work will include:

1. Leading product form factor and industrial design for safety devices (consumer + industrial).

2. Developing 3D CAD models & working prototypes using SolidWorks or Fusion 360.

3. Coordinating with the electronics team on PCB layouts and enclosure fitting.

4. Validating ergonomics, aesthetics, manufacturability (DFM), and safety compliance.

5. Conducting field/user testing with real families and factory workers.

6. Collaborating closely with hardware leads and the founding team on fast product iterations.

✅ Who Should Apply

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree in Industrial/Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields

• Minimum 1–2 internships/projects in product or industrial design (Portfolio required)

• Proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Fusion 360 for CAD

• Experience with 3D printing and prototyping

• Strong understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) and material selection

• Excellent visualization and communication skills

Bonus Skills (Preferred but not mandatory):

• Exposure to PCB/electronics integration in enclosures

• Familiarity with IoT devices and minimal constraint design

• Prior use of AI tools in product development or ideation workflows
