We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Retail Design Intern who can independently conceptualise and develop design solutions for our upcoming retail store.
The candidate will work end-to-end on design tasks, from ideation to layout creation, research, documentation, and design presentations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, responsibility, and creating spatial experiences from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop retail design concepts from scratch, based on brand guidelines

• Create store layout plans, zoning, and circulation mapping

• Prepare interior design concepts, fixture ideas, and display structures


• Build moodboards, material palettes, and design ideation boards


• Produce 2D drawings or 3D models as per project requirements


• Work on visual merchandising concepts and product display strategies


• Prepare clean design presentations for internal review


• Conduct research on retail formats, contemporary design trends, and innovative spatial ideas


• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and fabricators when required


• Take complete ownership of assigned design tasks, with minimal supervision


Required Skills

• Strong foundation in retail design, interior design, or spatial design


• Proficiency in at least one design tool: SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhino, Illustrator, Figma, or Photoshop


• Good understanding of store layouts, materials, and retail aesthetics


• Ability to generate concepts independently and present them clearly


• Strong attention to detail and creativity


• Good communication skills and a proactive mindset


Eligibility

Students pursuing or recently completed Interior Design / Retail Design / Architecture / Spatial Design / VM Design


Portfolio demonstrating independent design work is mandatory
