ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Graphic Designer to join our board game development team. This is a unique opportunity for a versatile designer who excels in both iconography and layout design to make a significant impact on our upcoming board game project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Icon Design & Vectorization (50%)

Finalize and vectorize all game icons to production-ready standards

Demonstrate exceptional understanding of icon design principles and shape finesse

Ensure consistency and clarity across all iconography

Create scalable vector assets optimized for print production

Layout Design for Game Components (50%)

Design visually compelling layouts for game mats and cards

Incorporate rich texture and transparency effects to enhance visual depth

Balance aesthetic appeal with functional gameplay requirements

Maintain cohesive visual language across all game components

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years of professional graphic design experience

Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (or equivalent vector/raster tools)

Strong portfolio demonstrating both icon design and layout work

Proven experience with texture manipulation and transparency effects

Understanding of print production requirements and specifications

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with design systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience designing for board games, card games, or tabletop gaming

Familiarity with game component specifications and manufacturing requirements

Style that aligns with contemporary board game art direction
