About the role:

We’re growing and are looking for a Senior Product Designer who can take ownership of the work for our key clients.

As a curious mind, you inspire yourself and your team to push the boundaries to create work that works. You are a great listener and a persuasive communicator. Clients trust you with their challenges and see you as a domain expert who can deliver.

Specifically your role entails the following:

Product Thinking

Working closely with clients' product team, you’ll understand the product vision and ensure the design goals are aligned to it. You think in concepts, not screens and approach briefs through a problem solving lens. You set the direction of the project and put together a team that will make it happen. You understand the business impact of design and can connect the dots between design recommendations and the metrics they impact. You have a sharp product sense that comes from understanding behaviour design principles as well as from practical experience of designing products that tick.

Discovery & Insights

You champion the voice of the user and shape solutions that resonate with them. You have mastered the art of listening and can peel through the surface to uncover drives and patterns that can guide design decisions. Using our discovery frameworks & various tools, you can hold discovery sessions & independently conduct workshops with clients.

Storytelling

Every experience is a story, and you can capture the essence of the design solution in a concise and compelling narrative. You pitch design solutions as a human story - making it easy to empathise and relate to. You can string together screens into a cohesive experience and are comfortable presenting to CXOs, helping them appreciate design decisions.

Client Partnership

You demonstrate a keen interest in our clients domain and empathise with their goals and limitations. You believe in investing in a close partnership with client teams that leads to great work. The clients see you as an expert practitioner and bring their challenges to you. Your horizon is not restricted to the project, but can see longer term opportunities to grow with the client.

Skills needed for the role:

3 to 4 years experience at a tech consulting firm or with a product team.

Experience in shipping large scale products through the entire lifecycle - from intent to outcomes.

Experience in conducting discovery sessions with product teams, aligning stakeholders, and setting the direction for the project.

Demonstrated mastery of design craft - from IA to complete Clickthrough Prototypes. Ideally, you are a Figma wizard.
