Senior UI Designer / Senior Visual Designer

GobbleCube is an AI-driven platform that helps consumer brands find revenue gaps, understand local demand, and automate growth actions across e-commerce and quick commerce. We turn large volumes of data into clear insights that brand and growth teams can act on.

We’re in a fast build phase, working closely across product, data, and engineering in a high-focus, pre-launch environment.

Role Overview

You’ll own the interface and visual direction of our core product. This is a senior IC role. You’ll set the visual quality bar, mentor juniors, and design clear, data-heavy dashboards that drive real revenue decisions.
You will work closely with the Lead of Product/Design and founding team.

Work setup:

On-site daily in our Gurgaon office

Key Responsibilities

1. Own end-to-end product UI
   Design intuitive interfaces for complex workflows across web (and mobile)
   
   

2. Make complex data easy to read
   Turn dense information (stock issues, pricing issues, ad performance, demand patterns) into simple, actionable visuals: charts, tables, maps, cards.
   
   

3. Build flows, mockups, and prototypes
   Create user flows, wireframes, polished visuals, and clickable prototypes in Figma.
   
   

4. Work cross-functionally for real outcomes
   Translate data, product inputs, and user needs into designs that improve activation, adoption, and time-to-insight.
   
   

5. Build and maintain the design system
   Set up scalable components, tokens, patterns

Drive adoption across design and engineering

6. Lead visual direction
   Define the visual language across product and key marketing touchpoints.
   
   

7. Front-end handoff and QA
   Work closely with engineers to ensure accurate, consistent implementation.

Run visual checks across screen sizes and states.

8. Maintain usability
   Run light usability tests, gather structured feedback, and iterate.
   
   

9. Mentor juniors
   Give clear critique, share process, and help the team sharpen visual craft.
   
   

10. Use AI tools smartly
    Use AI to speed up exploration while keeping the final quality human-led.
    
    

11. Handle fast parallel work
    Move multiple projects forward without dropping detail.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years in UI/visual/product design

• Strong portfolio with web product UI, design systems, and data-heavy screens

• Expert Figma skills

• Strong visual craft (typography, spacing, hierarchy, color)

• Understanding of responsive layouts and interaction patterns

• Basic understanding of front-end constraints

• Experience collaborating with PMs, data teams, and engineers

• Experience with usability tests

• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at early-stage startups, B2B SaaS, analytics, or martech

• Built or scaled a design system

• Comfort with AI tools, low-code/no-code tools, and advanced prototyping

• Experience designing for huge amounts of data

• Mentored designers

• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design
