The Opportunity:

We are looking for a social media manager.
we don’t need someone who “handles social.”
we need someone who owns it.


this role is for a person who understands that social media is distribution, brand building, and community rolled into one. you won’t just post content. you’ll build momentum.

what will you own?


  1. content engine

  • build and manage monthly content calendars

  • turn brand strategy into actual posts that move the needle

  • work with designers and editors to bring ideas to life

  • refine content pillars based on what performs, not guesswork

  • you should know the difference between content that looks good and content that works.

  1. influencer and creator collaborations

  • identify creators who actually align with the brand, not just big follower counts

  • reach out, negotiate, brief, and manage end-to-end

  • ensure deliverables are sharp and on brand

  • build long-term relationships, not one-off shoutouts

  • we care about leverage, not vanity.

  1. publishing and optimization

  • schedule and publish across platforms with intent

  • write strong captions and hooks

  • understand formatting differences between platforms

  • make sure nothing goes out half-baked

  • details matter here.

  1. community building

  • manage comments and DMs like a human, not a bot

  • turn passive followers into active community

  • surface insights, feedback, and recurring questions

  • protect brand reputation

  • community is not an afterthought. It’s compounding equity.

  1. trend awareness

  • stay ahead of trends, formats, and platform shifts

  • bring ideas proactively instead of waiting for briefs

  • know when to jump on a trend and when to ignore it

  • test, measure, iterate

  • not everything viral is relevant. Judgment is key.


what are we looking for?

  • 2 to 4 years in social media or content-led roles

  • strong platform understanding, especially Instagram and LinkedIn

  • clear writing skills and strong aesthetic instinct

  • comfortable coordinating with creators and internal teams

  • highly organized and deadline-driven

  • performance-aware, not just creative for the sake of it


what success looks like

  • consistent output without constant hand-holding

  • social presence that feels intentional and sharp

  • strong creator network

  • real engagement, not inflated numbers

  • a brand voice that sounds like a person, not a template
