Sector Seventeen is heading in an exciting direction, with focus on developing the brand’s presence on social media further. We are looking for a creative, confident and fast-paced Social Media Specialist to evolve Sector Seventeen’s social media channels.

This is an opportunity to help us shape the future direction for our brand socials and creative voice. Supporting our Creative Director’s vision, this role will plan and capture the content across our marketing campaigns and communications to create engaging visual storytelling and enhance audience rapport.

We are looking for somebody who has strong attention to detail, exceptional organisation, and a can-do attitude to help us communicate our brand stories and values to reach a wider audience.

Your key responsibilities will include

• Work directly with Creative Director to execute brand vision and liaise on marketing strategies

• Capture and edit photo and video content

• Upload content on our Instagram, with written content for captions

• Manage the monthly content calendar

• Manage daily interactions and inquiries such as comments, message requests tagged content, etc. to grow rapport with audience

• Oversee reviews and feedback from customers

• Collect engagement and performance insights, and audience profile metrics

• Contribute ideas for reels, videos and photo shoots, and spot cultural trends

• Support on ad hoc design needs including design for digital and print collaterals

• Assisting the wider team where needed

What we're seeking in our ideal candidate

• Proven experience as a designer or a similar role, showcasing your understanding of the technical requirements of the role

• Proficiency with design softwares, including but not limited to Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and video editing softwares

• Skills in layouts, graphics fundamentals, print and web designs

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Solid organisational and time management skills

• Interest and understanding of specialty coffee as well as pastries

• Friendliness, positivity and a can-do attitude
