Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Technical Product Designer who bridges the gap between digital ideation and physical craftsmanship. You will play a pivotal role in translating ambitious architectural concepts into tangible, meticulously detailed products. If you are someone who understands the spatial nuances of design but isn't afraid to get your hands dirty on the workshop floor, you will be right at home here.

What You Will Do

• Bridge Design and Production: Transform conceptual ideas into precise technical drawings and highly detailed 3D models ready for CAM machining and manufacturing.

• Hands-on Prototyping: Bring designs to life through active, hands-on fabrication, utilizing your skills in carpentry, FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Plastic), and furniture building.

• Technical Detailing: Ensure every product meets rigorous structural and aesthetic standards, understanding the technical chemistry and behavior of our materials.

• AI Integration: Leverage modern AI tools to optimize design workflows, research forms, and streamline the development process.

• Collaborate: Work closely alongside a dedicated team to troubleshoot technical challenges and innovate new product lines.

Who You Are

• The Maker: With 2 to 3 years of experience and a strong background in physical fabrication. Possess deep, hands-on experience in building products, particularly in furniture, carpentry, and working with FRP.

• The Technical Expert: Highly proficient in industry-standard software, including Fusion 360, ZBrush, Rhino, Grasshopper, and SketchUp.

• The AI-Educated Designer: Curious and informed about how artificial intelligence can be utilized to enhance smart working and design processes.

• The Mindset: Dedicated, hard-working and a true team player. Possess a keen eye for aesthetic detail, but you back it up with the technical knowledge required to build it.
