At House of Knots, we create handcrafted rugs that bring together design, materiality, and craftsmanship. We're looking for a Textile Designer to join our team and help develop thoughtful, commercially relevant collections for global markets.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Developing original rug and textile designs from concept through production

• Creating CADs, colourways, and technical artworks for sampling and production

• Researching design trends, materials, textures, and construction techniques

• Collaborating with the product development and production teams to ensure design feasibility

• Working on custom design projects for architects, interior designers, and international clients

• Contributing to the development of new collections and seasonal launches

We're looking for someone who:

• Has 2 years of experience in textile, rug, or surface design

• Possesses a strong understanding of colour, composition, texture, and materiality

• Is proficient in design software and technical CAD development

• Has an eye for both creativity and commercial viability

• Is organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple projects

Bonus points if you have:

• Prior experience in the rug or carpet industry

• Working knowledge of Galicha software

• Experience developing products for international markets
