User Interface Design
Mid Level
Full Time
Onsite Required
The Opportunity:
Key Responsibilities
1. Create refined, responsive UI designs for medical-grade devices, mobile apps, and enterprise web apps.
2. Apply strong knowledge of color theory, translucency, and contrast ratios to ensure accessibility and regulatory compliance (e.g., WCAG for medical software).
3. Design for ambient and adaptive lighting conditions across home and clinical environments.
Cross-Platform Design Systems
1. Build and maintain design systems and UI component libraries that scale across touch, voice, and gesture-based interfaces.
2. Collaborate with UX, hardware, and firmware teams to unify visual consistency across embedded device screens, mobile, and web.
Advanced Interaction Support
1. Support AR, gesture, and contextual UI development — focusing on how visuals respond to motion, distance, and depth, rather than UX logic.
2. Partner with motion designers and front-end engineers to translate prototypes into production-ready visuals.
Continuity & Ecosystem Design
1. Conceptualize UI states that transition fluidly across devices — e.g., continuing a test or consultation on another screen.
2. Design for synchronization, continuity, and data presence across multiple form factors.
Collaboration & Handoff
1. Work closely with UX researchers, developers, and clinical domain experts to translate wireframes into production UI.
2. Deliver pixel-perfect mockups, Figma libraries, motion specs, and annotated documentation.
Qualifications
• 3–5 years of professional experience in UI design for digital products (preferably medical, IoT, or smart-home interfaces).
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools (e.g., After Effects, Principle, ProtoPie).
• Strong grasp of color theory, contrast, translucency, and visual hierarchy in multi-light environments.
• Experience with design systems, token-based color management, and UI implementation workflows (with developers).
• Familiarity with AR interface overlays, gesture-based feedback, and voice-first visual cues.
• Appreciation for system coherence — how devices, mobile apps, and portals feel unified across user journeys.
What You’ll Love About This Role
• Designing interfaces that directly improve patient experience and doctor efficiency.
• Working with engineers building voice-, touch-, and vision-enabled health devices.
• Pushing the boundary between medical precision and consumer-level delight.
• Collaborating across product, hardware, and AI teams to define the visual language of next-gen home healthcare.
