Experiment Labs is building an AI Copilot for Applied Learning and Career Transitions. Our product helps students and young professionals discover paths, build skills through real projects, and transition into careers with confidence. This is not another learning platform. We are designing a visually stunning, habit-forming, daily-use product that blends art, UI/UX, product thinking, and AI.

Role Overview

This internship blends UI/UX design and art. We are looking for someone who thinks like an artist and designs like a product builder. Your focus will be to create visually powerful, emotionally engaging digital experiences. You will work directly with founders and product to design the core experience of our AI copilot – how users interact with it, take action, build habits, and feel momentum in their career journey. This role is fast-paced and execution-led. Move fast, build fast, ship fast.

What You Will Do

Design visually stunning web and SaaS interfaces

Blend art and UI/UX to create emotionally engaging digital experiences

Create micro-interactions, motion elements, and visually appealing product flows

Design AI copilot chat experiences and user workflows

Build daily habit loops, streaks, progress visuals, and motivation-led UI

Work on project builder interfaces and action dashboards

Own features end-to-end from idea to shipped experience

Collaborate closely with engineering to push designs live quickly

This role is about craft, taste, speed, and quality. No long research cycles. No heavy documentation. Build, ship, iterate.

Tools and Skills We Care About

Must Have

strong proficiency in Figma

strong visual and artistic sense

ability to create high fidelity UI screens

ability to design interactive prototypes

motion design, Lottie, Rive, or After Effects

illustration or art background

prior work on AI assistant or chat-based interfaces

experience designing habit forming or gamified products
