The Opportunity:
As a Full-Time Video Editor, you will own the end-to-end video output for the brand.
This is not a freelance or task-based role.
You will be expected to think like a brand editor who understands what should be cut, what should be amplified, and what should never go out.
Key Responsibilities
Own EARLY’s video content quality and consistency across short-form and long-form formats, ensuring all output aligns with brand tone, medical responsibility, and growth goals.
Translate raw footage from founders, doctors, podcasts, and shoots into high-retention, brand-safe narratives across platforms.
Shape and repurpose long-form content into scalable short-form formats, making strong editorial decisions on what works and what doesn’t.
Collaborate with the core team to continuously improve content direction and performance based on audience response and feedback.
Requirements & Qualifications
2–4+ years of hands-on experience editing videos for brands, startups, creators, or media platforms (short-form + long-form).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical training in Film, Media Studies, Mass Communication, Design, Visual Communication, Animation, or a related field.
Formal degree preferred, strong portfolio can substitute
Strong command over Adobe Premiere Pro with a solid understanding of:
Visual pacing and storytelling.
Audio cleanup and dialogue editing.
Captioning and on-screen text hierarchy.
Proven ability to edit retention-focused short-form content for platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
Experience working with raw, unscripted footage (interviews, podcasts, doctor or founder content).
Strong attention to detail, deadline ownership, and comfort with feedback and iterations.
Ability to think beyond execution and make editorial decisions aligned with brand and audience goals.
This Role Is NOT For You If
You only want freelance-style or template-based work.
You are uncomfortable with feedback and revisions.
You don’t care about brand consistency or quality control.
You are not interested in learning about the product or audience.
