About the Brand

Doto Kids aims to lead children's fashion in India by offering stylish yet functional clothing that meets the unique needs of children. As a direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand, we primarily operate through our website and social media, striving to provide a seamless shopping experience for parents.

To know more about us, visit www.dotokids.com or follow us on Instagram @doto.kids.

About the Role

At Dotokids, design isn't just about making things look beautiful — it's about telling stories, building a brand parents love, and creating visuals that drive business outcomes. As our Visual Designer, you'll work at the intersection of branding, marketing, and product to shape every visual experience customers have with Dotokids. From planning photoshoots and crafting high-performing advertisements to elevating our website and social media presence, you'll play a key role in defining the visual identity of one of India's fastest-growing kidswear brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design visual assets across Meta and Google ads, social media, website, email, and other marketing channels.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and brand teams to create compelling creatives that strengthen the Dotokids brand.

  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of product and campaign photoshoots.

  • Create mood boards, shot lists, and creative direction for photoshoots.

  • Coordinate with the product development team to ensure the right products are ready for every shoot.

  • Work closely with photographers, stylists, models, and other external partners to execute high-quality shoots.

  • Use photoshoot assets to create high-performing ad creatives across performance marketing channels.

  • Build inspiration boards to explore new creative concepts, advertising styles, and visual trends.

  • Define the imagery and visual assets required for product catalog pages to improve customer engagement and conversion.

  • Ensure a consistent visual identity across every customer touchpoint while continuously experimenting with new creative ideas.

Who We're Looking For

  • Graduate from NID, NIFT, or an equivalent design institute.

  • 1–3 years of experience as a Visual Designer, preferably with a D2C fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brand.

  • A strong eye for fashion, aesthetics, typography, composition, and visual storytelling.

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.

  • Experience planning or directing photoshoots, including creating mood boards and coordinating with creative partners.

  • Strong understanding of how creative assets influence customer engagement and conversions.

  • A passion for creating visuals that are both beautiful and performance-driven.

  • Experience designing for Meta, Google, or other digital advertising platforms is a strong advantage.

  • Curious about emerging design trends, AI tools, and new creative formats.

  • Comfortable taking ownership and working in a fast-paced startup environment.

About Us

We are three friends from IIT Bombay (2016–17 batch) who are on the entrepreneurial journey to build India's first new-age brand for kids clothing, catering to the millennial mom.

Rewa graduated from Harvard Business School in 2022. Before that, she launched and managed P&L for new beauty categories at Urban Company and was an Associate at BCG India.

Sarthak was an early leader at Zeno Health, a health-tech company in Mumbai. There, he launched multiple offline-first businesses such as the diagnostics vertical and community health clinics. He started his career as a Manufacturing Manager at Pampers, Procter & Gamble.

Mahak comes from a product and marketing background. As part of the early core team at WMall (now ShopDeck), he built the company's e-commerce stack and helped scale it to over 10,000 orders per day. Before that, he was a Product Manager at Paytm.
