About the Role

The web is often the first place someone encounters Sarvam. That first impression matters enormously, and this role owns it.

We're looking for a web design intern who has strong UI foundations, an obsessive eye for detail, and the drive to make every pixel count. Someone who sees AI tools like Cursor and Claude not as shortcuts, but as force multipliers that let great design move at the speed of thought.

This isn't a support role. You'll be embedded in the design team, working directly with marketing and product, shaping how one of India's most ambitious AI companies presents itself to the world.

What You'll Do

• Drive day-to-day design iterations on sarvam.ai, including new pages, campaign drops, product launches, and ongoing quality improvements

• Work within and push forward the Sarvam visual system: gradients, typography, motion, the monogram, and a brand language rooted in Indian identity with global ambition

• Use Cursor, Claude, or similar AI-assisted environments to take designs from Figma to live pages, collapsing the gap between idea and execution

• Collaborate with marketing and product on launches and campaigns that reach millions of people

• Audit and raise the quality bar across the site continuously, the kind of work that compounds over time

What We're Looking For

• A strong foundation in UI design, with a portfolio that shows you care deeply about the craft: layout, typography, color, spacing, the details that most people never consciously notice but always feel

• You're the person who spots the misaligned element, the inconsistent type scale, the gradient that's one stop off. And you fix it without being asked

• Comfort working in code with AI tooling: you don't need to be a frontend engineer, but you should be able to take a design to a working page and feel good about it

• Curiosity about Cursor, Claude Code, v0, or any AI-first build environment

• The drive to work independently and ship, not just explore

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Indian visual language, Devanagari typography, or culturally grounded design

• Motion and interaction design sensibility

• Prior work at a startup, design studio, or anywhere craft was taken seriously
