WordPress & Shopify Developer

We are seeking a skilled WordPress & Shopify Developer who specializes in Elementor and the Hello Elementor theme to build, maintain, and optimize client websites. The ideal candidate can translate Figma designs into fast, secure, SEO-friendly WordPress and Shopify builds and understands the essentials of eCommerce functionality and data management.

Responsibilities

-Build and maintain WordPress (Elementor + Hello Elementor) and Shopify websites.

-Convert Figma designs into responsive, pixel-perfect layouts.

-Maintain and update website content and plugins etc.

-Implement site security best practices including firewall setup, malware scanning, and login protection.

-Optimize website performance (speed, Core Web Vitals, image optimization, caching).

-Support local SEO (Google Business Profiles) and national SEO efforts with on-page SEO implementation.

-Upload and manage products, collections, and pages on Shopify or WordPress.

-Use CSV files for importing/exporting products, metadata, redirects, and site data.

-Manage dynamic content, custom fields, and database-driven components.

-Ensure clean, maintainable coding practices for scalability and long-term site health.

-Troubleshoot and resolve layout, performance, and technical issues across platforms and devices.

Requirements

-Expert-level experience with Elementor and Hello Elementor.

-Solid Shopify experience including theme customization and app integration.

-Advanced understanding of eCommerce website structures, product data, variant handling, carts, and checkout flows.

-Ability to work with CSV product feeds and structured data imports/exports.

-Understanding of dynamic content (ACF, MetaBox, Shopify meta fields, etc.).

-Familiarity with WordPress and Shopify database logic and templating.

-Strong grasp of clean code standards, responsive design, and UI/UX best practices.

-Experience with image optimization, performance tools, and SEO fundamentals.

-Ability to collaborate with designers, marketers, and SEO teams.

Nice to Have

-Experience with Liquid customization, theme JSON config, and advanced Elementor workflows.

-Familiarity with hosting environments (Cloudways, cPanel) and analytics tools (Search Console, Lighthouse).

-Understanding of schema markup, redirects, and technical SEO.
